The books starts with eight strangers going on a train ride to the ferry where it will take them to Indian Island. At the island the eight strangers meet a butler and his wife who will be serving them.
As they end their dinner, a voice appears reminding them of their past crimes. The voice appears to come from a gramohone with a record on it. They all sit in the living having drinks while discussing one another's murder of a person. As they all greed to leave the island the next morning, the youngest of the strangers talks about wanting to investigate this thriller of who Mr. Owns (owner of Indian Island) is. Few moments later he falls to the ground being the first to be dead.
The Strangers find out that it all comes from the poem "Ten Little Indian Boys" which is all a part of a decoration in each guest rooms. As the strangers are trapped on the island they all face death and accusing of one another.
At the end of the book YOU will find out who the KILLER is.
